Grown Unschooler Circle

A space for grown-up unschoolers (18+, or 16+ with both parent AND group facilitator permission) to connect around and discuss shared experiences & struggles, what it's been like applying unschooling to adult life so far, and identifying any learnings/feedback/tools we can offer the next generation of unschooling youth & parents as we all find our ways. (Parents are welcome if they themselves were unschooled for all or part of their childhood!)

We'll start with a full group circle where we'll do some icebreakers, set expectations, & identify topics the group wants to talk about. You'll be free to join a large group discussion circle or to splinter off into smaller interest-based groups, then we'll reconvene to share out remarkable ideas and reflections before parting ways.

Sometimes people choose to share sensitive or personal stories about their childhood in this space. In an effort to cultivate an honest and open space for discussion, please do not share anything from this group outside of this group without asking the person who shared for permission, and leave out names and places if you need to share with a loved one to process. If a triggering story comes up, I'll ask everyone to take a breath to give a chance to slow down, step out, or name needs before continuing.
